Children's Hospital is located in the Longwood Medical Area, which consists of Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and Harvard School of Public Health as well as other major hospitals including Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, and Dana Farber Cancer Instiute. There is a shuttle bus service ("M2") between the main Harvard campus in Cambridge and the Longwood Medical Area (via MIT). The bus is free for those with a Harvard ID and based in Longwood.
