JOB OPPORTUNITIES

The Children's Hospital Informatics Program is seeking postdoctoral fellows to join the group. Applications are invited from 1) those with an MD and strong quantitative and computational skills or 2) those with a PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science) who would like to work in bioinformatics or clinical informatics.

We are seeking STRONGLY MOTIVATED individuals who will take advantage of the enormous opportunities available at Harvard Medical School and the surrounding research hospitals. Few positions are available each year. One position is available immediately; because this position is funded by the National Library of Medicine training grant, US Citizenship or permanent residency is required.

For fellows who require additional training, opportunities are available through the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST) program in medical informatics at MIT. Please email cover letter, CV, research papers (if available), and contact information for three references to Dr. Isaac Kohane (isaac_kohane@harvard.edu)

For those interested in graduate studies, you may be interested in the Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics (BIG) program for which Dr. Kohane is a co-director. We also encourage undergraduate or graduate students at Harvard or MIT to contact individual CHIP faculty members for potential projects.
