- Researchers from the
Mitsubishi Electric Research Lab (MERL) will present a program they
have been developing in collaboration with Joe Gonzalez-Heydrich
and David DeMaso of the Psychiatry department at Children's
Hospital. The program is called "The Experience Journal". This is
part of a larger project called "Mending Hearts and Minds:
Developing Computer Based Tools to Help Children and Families
Facing Serious Medical Illness". The MERL researchers will do a
small demo of the prototype that they have so far.
